What We Collect

When you fill in a form we collect the details you choose to give us: your name, mobile number, email address, state and district, a description of your concern, and any documents you upload. Advocates and volunteers who apply to join also share professional details such as their Bar Council enrolment.

Why We Collect It

We use your information only to review your request, contact you about it, connect you with a suitable advocate where appropriate, and assess applications to join our network. We do not use it for advertising.

Who Can See It

Your information is seen only by NYAY GHAR team members and, where you ask for assistance, by the advocate assigned to your matter. We never sell your information or publish it.

How We Store It

The website is hosted by Vercel. Form responses and documents are stored in access-controlled Google accounts operated by NYAY GHAR, and are sent to them over encrypted connections.

How Long We Keep It

We keep your information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose you shared it for, or as required by law, and then delete it.

Your Rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent, at any time by calling us. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or cannot act yourself. Withdrawing consent may mean we can no longer help with your request.

Complaints

If you have a complaint about how we handled your information, raise it with us first using the number below. If it is not resolved, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India once that route is available under the law.

Children

If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us or fill in the form for you. We do not use children's information for tracking or targeted advertising.
